Homeschool Play & Learn

Activities and crafts tend to fit best for ages PreK to middle grades. There are different themes each week, with different centers such as a Makerspace cart, dramatic play (e.g. farm, Bluey, restaurant, grocery store, safari, & outer space), and literacy materials like dry erase boards to practice handwriting & flash cards for phonics. We also do gaming (board games, giant games, and Nintendo Switches), and once-a-month there is a sewing machine class, and regular visits throughout the year by Yadkin County Cooperative Extension Horticulture agent. We also plan to have some other special guest speakers and/or field trips that have been requested and offered for the 2026-2027 school year.
