Yadkin County Schools
Yadkin County Schools continue to work hard to provide an appropriate learning environment for all students. Yadkin County is based on a 12-school system: Eight elementary schools, Two Middle Schools and Two High Schools. Elementary schools consist of grades K-5, Middle Schools grades 6 – 8 and the High Schools are grades 9-12. Yadkin County Schools also offer the Yadkin Early College and the Yadkinville Success Academy.

Yadkin Center-Surry Community College
The ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony was held for the Yadkin Center of Surry Community College on April 25, 2003. The facility is located just north of Yadkinville on US 601. The center offers Basic Skills Programs, Technology Courses, Vocational Training & Retraining, and Curriculum Courses/Programs.
